Jaimie Krycho was born and raised in the DFW area of Texas, and – like a good little succulent – now thrives in another desert further west: the Colorado foothills. She started her first sci-fi/fantasy novella at age twelve, inspired by a Ray Bradbury short story.
A goodly number of years ago, Jaimie earned her BA in professional writing at the University of Oklahoma, then proceeded to spend another goodly number of years prioritizing her husband (the illustrious Chris Krycho) and her two fair and fell daughters (now 12 and 10). Somehow she thereafter earned a black belt in Taekwondo and fell in love with all martial arts...which inexplicably led to her current career as an actor and freelance videographer.
Jaimie might still look like she's in college, but she divides her time between the home (family of bona fide über-nerds), the mats (pursuing a new level of martial artistry in Kajukenbo, aka the original MMA, baby), in front of the camera, behind the camera, or hunched unhealthily over her laptop as she tries to detangle the minutiae of Logic Pro and/or FinalCut Pro functionalities.
