Jaimie Krycho was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, where she fell in love with words as soon as she was old enough to understand them. She started her first novella at age twelve, spurred by a sci-fi/fantasy kick that hasn’t actually ended.
Schooled at the University of Oklahoma under the mentorship of author Mel Odom, Jaimie graduated with a BA in professional writing.
Now, so very many years later, she still looks like a college student but divides her time between her husband and two daughters (all sublime nerds), black belt training in Taekwondo, working on personal writing side projects, sketching and painting, and pursuing acting and vocal work under the tutelage of friend and pedagogue par excellence, Philadelphia-based actor, writer, and advocate Michael Bihovsky.
